Kenny van Langeveld, a partner of the aWISH project, presented aWISH (with a focus on the data platform and data sharing) live during this workshop on Thursday the 28th of March at the FASFC headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. There were around 16 people in total present from the competent authorities of Belgium (FASFC), Luxembourg (ALVA), Norway (Norwegian Food Safety Authority), Ireland (Food Safety Authority of Ireland), Czech Republic (Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority), and The Netherlands (NVWA). Two other presenters also presented their technology or findings on the use of technology for modern inspection. aWISH was thus among three organisations/projects/technologies to be invited to this workshop to present their work.
The working group was looking at how to possibly implement AI in modern inspections, which innovations exist for optimalisation in inspections, etc. aWISH of course with its platform and design is of course a good possible fit within these questions the HOA tackled within this working group.
