The aWISH Project and its partners were proud to participate in the EuroTier Fair 2024, held on November 12th in Berlin, where FBN (Leibniz Institute for Farm Animal Biology) unveiled their latest sensor technology designed to detect distress in pigs.
This innovative technology, presented at the aWISH Project booth, highlights how cutting-edge monitoring systems can improve animal welfare and help farmers identify health and behavioral issues in livestock early. FBN’s contribution is a key step toward achieving the aWISH Project’s vision of advancing welfare and health monitoring systems across the livestock industry.
In addition to showcasing the sensor at the booth, FBN delivered an engaging presentation on its applications during a session at the fair. The talk, accessible via the EuroTier digital platform, highlighted the potential of this technology to transform animal welfare practices globally.
